Collaboration for Atlantic Salmon Tomorrow

 Collaboration for Atlantic Salmon Tomorrow (CAST) is a partnership of scientists, environmental groups and industry participants. CAST's focus is saving wild Atlantic salmon before it’s too late, and the hope is that CAST will serve as a positive partnership model for wild Atlantic salmon rivers in Eastern Canada.

The Atlantic Salmon Conservation Foundation  (ASCF) is a non-profit charitable organization with the mission of promoting enhanced community partnerships in the conservation of wild Atlantic salmon and its habitat in Atlantic Canada and Quebec. CAST’s ARIS project is funded in part by ASCF.  Their support has enabled participation from local First Nations communities and facilitated training of current and recent UNB students as ARIS technicians.

This project was supported partially by a financial contribution from Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
