CAST's focus is saving wild Atlantic salmon before it is too late

​Collaboration for Atlantic Salmon Tomorrow (CAST) is a partnership of scientists, governments, non-government organizations and industry participants. The hope is that CAST will serve as a positive partnership model for wild Atlantic salmon rivers in Eastern Canada.

Miramichi River

Located in New Brunwick, the Miramichi River system is used for the proof of concept.

Project Timeline

CAST project started in 2016. We are hitting our third field season and ready to keep going for many years.
